History
Over 30 years of exponential growth
- 1973: Creation of the FRANCHE COMTE SERUM Agricultural Cooperative in Port-Sur-Saône, in the east of France, to process whey production surplus.
- 1979: Installation of the first demineralization line in Port-sur-Saone in order to produce whey powder for human consumption and especially for infant milk.
- 1980 - 1990: Development of EUROSERUM activities on an international scale.
- 1990: Construction of a second drying tower in Port sur Saone to increase the drying capacity.
- 1993: Purchase of 3 new drying sites: Bénestroff, Rodez and Mâcon.
- 2000: ENTREMONT becomes the major shareholder.
- 2001: Purchase of a drying site in Stribro in Czech Republic. Integration of the 3 ENTREMONT drying sites: Quimper, Malestroit and Montauban de Bretagne.
- 2003: Purchase of a drying site in Wegrow in Poland. EUROSERUM now handles industrial and commercial management of all powders (milk and whey) for the whole ENTREMONT Group.
- 2005: Creation of ENTREMONT ALLIANCE (merger of the ENTREMONT Group with
the milk branch of UNICOPA).
- 2006: Integration of 2 new production sites into the group: Carhaix and Guingamp.
- 2008: 2 new production sites in Montauban (South of France) and Monforte de Lemos in Spain
- 2011: Takeover of the ENTREMONT ALLIANCE Group by the SODIAAL Group. EUROSERUM becomes a Business Unit of the SODIAAL International Holding.
